I can't recall when we had so much snow in the East of England before - this photograph was taken first thing this morning and we have had more since - all these footprints which you can see have now disappeared again.
When poor old Mike came home tonight (having been delayed at London Liverpool Street for hours) I had to clear a path to the front door otherwise the snow would have reached almost to his knees.
This is only the beginning – what happens when it all melts????
